I have the Olympus Pen EP-1 in for review. In the last few days, I’ve had the opportunity to take some test pictures, so I wanted to share them with you guys before I talk about it on GeekBrief.TV. I’ll be taking lots more before I send it back…this is just the beginning!

you should have had a GF1 in to compare too.. the AF on the GF1 smacks the E-P1/2 around =) But both very good. The Lumix 20/1.7 lens is a must have IMO, which is one of the reasons I got a GF1, much better deal on the wallet.

I should add, if anyone is curious, I did a write up (note: note a review per se) on my friend’s site: http://lensist.blogspot.com/2009/12/guest-review-panasonic-gf1.html

Wow, those b&w shots make you look even more beautiful than normal – I didn’t think that was even possible!
Oh, and Happy Holidays to you and your family too x

Now I love that one of you. You look nice in black and white. I wish I had the EP-1. How do you like it in comparison the you’re stolen 5D Mark II?

I agree with what the other commentors have said. Your B&W shots look great. What would be cool is to find some real black and white photos from before, and take some new ones with this camera, to compare.
For example, if you have a photo of your mom in B&W, take another one with this cam. and see how things have evolved since the first shot. I don’t mean the aging process, but the quality of tech. evolving.
lol
