Everyone keeps asking if I’ll be at SXSW, and I finally have an answer! I’m up for Statesman’s Texas Social Media Award taking place during SXSW, so I will be in Austin Sunday evening, the 15th, to attend the event (you can come too!). I won’t be going into SXSW Interactive, though, because while I was able to get a press badge for me, I wasn’t for Neal, so I’m skipping it altogether.
You can join the event Sunday evening at Ballet Austin. Tickets are $15. Drinks and snacks are free! The event is from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
I haven’t decided exactly how long I’m staying or what other events I’ll be attending, so follow my tweets! I want to say hi to those of you who are there!

Cali, sad to here that you won’t be able to make it to SXSW. I was able to find sponsors so I will be going for the first time.
Hopefully we can have a tweetup sometime while you are in town (outside the convention) I would love to meet you.

I applaud you for your stand concerning SXSW and their not giving Neal a press badge. You guys rock!

SXSW is one of the top tech events in the U.S. – It wasn’t worth spending $400 on a badge for Neal to attend and cover it? Seems a bit shortsighted.
