Thanks to Charlotte Alldredge who sent this in. It was taken at a shop in Carmel. The small print says “It’s a Mad Dash Through Meatland on Your Way to the frying Pan!”

In the past five years of doing GeekBrief.TV, a lot of data organization has fallen by the wayside in favor of saving time because it always felt like we were going, going, going and with just the two of us doing everything, some things just didn’t get done properly.

Over the weekend, I decided to dig in to the mess and reorganize ALL my data!! I wanted to make it as easy as possible, so I hooked up all 12 drives at once. Yep, that’s right….12 drives at…the…same…time!

I expect I’ll get some questions about what kind of drives I have in this stack, so here’s a list, from left to right, top to bottom:

  • WD MyBook
  • LaCie
  • G-Drive
  • G-Drive Mini (highly recommend these drives!)
  • LaCie Rugged
  • Drobo Firewire
  • Drobo USB
  • Drobo Pro
  • G-Drive Mini (2)
  • Acomdata (very old!)
  • Drobo USB

As you know, I have the Olympus Pen EP-1 in for review. I shared pictures with you last week, and I wanted to share some video from the EP-1 (plus some more pics) today before it goes on the show this week. Comment with your thoughts!

I got a ping on AIM this morning to let me know that GeekBrief.TV was a Jeopardy answer. Then I got a message on Twitter. Then another. It was New Years Day, so more people were home to see it than otherwise would be. I’m thrilled that Alex Trebek said the words “GeekBrief”. How cool! :)

Thanks to @smoknyreyz and everyone else who sent me the video!

The last time I was in LA, George Ruiz (my agent) was telling me about a “techie chocolate” company called Tcho (tech chocolate), and he sent me some samples for Christmas. Being a geek, I was of course intrigued at how chocolate creation could be turned into something geeks would care about. Here’s a look:

It’s entirely different than what Americans are used to, so if you’re up for supporting them and giving it a try, you can order some from Tcho.com. Enjoy!
