Smithfield thick cut bacon..Cook it on a cookie sheet in 400 degree oven ( no mess ) you do not even have to turn it over! In 30 minutes or so–perfect crispy bacon!!!
No messy stove.

Bacon MUST be thin and crispy. There is NO excuse for limp, wimpy bacon. Bacon is perfect with eggs, a good burger or just toasted bread and sliced ripe, sweet tomatoes.

For day-to-day bacon, Oscar Meyer center cut. For special occasions, thick cut peppered Amana bacon (Amana Colony Smokehouse is just 20 minutes away)

But my favorite is Science Diet Jerky strips — it keeps my dogs quiet for awhile.

Personally I think turkey bacon is an abomination and shouldn’t even be called bacon. I’m all about original bacon or peppered bacon.
