When it comes to bacon, I’m an Original girl. I like my slices thin and crispy. But I can also appreciate any other slice of bacon goodness. In a Yahoo! taste test, the best original bacon comes from Ozark Trails with the Hickory Smoked and Peppered Bacon. They suggest eating it on top of a burger or with fried eggs. I suggest eating it (whatever the brand!) as soon as it comes off the frying pan and cools off enough not to burn your mouth!
What’s your favorite kind of bacon? Leave a comment below!

Personally I think turkey bacon is an abomination and shouldn’t even be called bacon. I’m all about original bacon or peppered bacon.

I like mine a little mangled and crispy, so I guess that would make me an Oddball.

Totally agree. Original is best! The crispier the better…

For day-to-day bacon, Oscar Meyer center cut. For special occasions, thick cut peppered Amana bacon (Amana Colony Smokehouse is just 20 minutes away)
But my favorite is Science Diet Jerky strips — it keeps my dogs quiet for awhile.

Bacon MUST be thin and crispy. There is NO excuse for limp, wimpy bacon. Bacon is perfect with eggs, a good burger or just toasted bread and sliced ripe, sweet tomatoes.

Many years ago I had bacon from a can. It was actually pretty good except it was very very salty.

with eggs, potatoes, and salsa in a tortilla!

I like mine thin and crispy. And the way I get it that way is to put in microwave in between two paper towels, then nuke for ’bout 1 min per slice.

Peppered, sliced thick double-wrapped around a 8-10 ounce beef filet.

Irish back bacon. Has a smoky flavor and is usually lean for bacon. Cooks in seconds and excellent for grilling

Smithfield thick cut bacon..Cook it on a cookie sheet in 400 degree oven ( no mess ) you do not even have to turn it over! In 30 minutes or so–perfect crispy bacon!!!
