Adam Curry Remembers Thriller

If you read my blog, I imagine you know me well enough to know that my business partner is Adam Curry. He’s the former MTV VJ, I’m told. I didn’t grow up with a TV in my house. I credit him as the Podfather…the inventor of podcasting. I know there’s some controversey there, but I have no reason not to credit him.
When Michael Jackson died, my husband Neal, a child of 80’s TV, was extremely upset. I could kind of understand because I’ve seen videos and concert footage that showed me that Michael’s talent was something special. I emailed Adam and said if Neal is any indication, a lot of people would appreciate a Daily Source Code about his rememberence of Michael Jackson. I think he may be working on that, but in the meantime, here’s a link to a podcast he did on the anniversary of the release of Thriller. He recorded this at Michael Jackson’s request…

I’ve sometimes wondered if “your” Adam Curry was the same Adam Curry who helped put MTV on the map. Very cool to know that he was able to innovate himself from the cutting edge of Tv to the cutting edge of Internet – he would be a guy to watch for hints of what’s next.
